The fronts of our cubus pure occasional furniture are covered in delicate coloured glass, which emphasises the high-quality solid wood surfaces. The fine glass edge gives the furniture a delicate look, and the recessed plinth creates a light, floating appearance. Particularly striking is the contrast between the homogenous glass surfaces and the vibrant solid wood in our fascinating Venetian oak front option. This unique, hand-picked wood pattern comes from Venetian oak trunks and is characterised by traces of the tides and of mussels.
The versatile design elements open up additional planning options for our cubus pure sideboards. With their open design, the solid wood elements perfectly set the stage for displaying the large and small treasures of everyday life. The look of a display cabinet can be accentuated with the optional all-glass doors. The rear wall can set a charming contrast in coloured glass, or remain discreetly in the background as wood. The design elements can be also supplemented with dimmable LED lighting if desired.

Noble, dark and elegant: walnut.
Austria, Slovenia and Hungary are home to our walnut trees. The noble living grained wood has hues that range from light brown to black brown and sometimes show a red or purple sheen. Regular sunlight lightens the wood’s colour. Walnut is hard and maintains its shape – it is almost impossible to wear out the extremely resilient wood.
wild walnutMore information
Rustic, precious and lively: wild walnut.
We deliberately select wild walnut with natural characteristics. The wood is allowed to continue living with all its knotholes and original lively pattern in your home. This way the knots and cracks adapt naturally to the indoor climate and change over time. Regular sunlight lightens the colour. The character of the wood is distinctly more rustic than with traditional walnut. Wild walnut is hard, maintains its shape and is extremely resilient to wear and tear – this is why we use it for our fronts, table tops and beds.
Intensive, precious and resilient: cherry.
Whether it comes from sustainable forests in Austria, Hungary or Romania: the deciduous wood from our cherry trees is perfect for producing premium solid wood furniture. It is highly resilient, close-grained and always reveals different facets of its beauty. This is because ist colour spectrum ranges from a yellowish or reddish brown through to an intense dark red brown. The colour darkens slightly when exposed to sunlight.
Resilient, robust and firm: oak.
Our oak grows just a stone’s throw away in sustainably managed forests in Austria, Germany and Hungary. A greyish-yellow to yellowish-brown heartwood is characteristic of this firm and particularly resilient wood. It grows in clearly visible even tree rings and darkens slightly in sunlight.
oak white oilMore information
Resilient, robust and finished by us: oak white oil.
Our oak grows here in Austria, as well as in forests in Germany and Hungary. A greyish-yellow to yellowy-brown heartwood is characteristic of this firm and particularly resilient wood. It grows in clearly-visible, even tree rings. We have finished the premium wood of our oak white oil surface with a special oil that prevents the natural darkening of the oak and makes it brighter.
wild oakMore information
Distinctive, natural and durable: wild oak.
Our oak grows in Germany, Austria and Hungary. We use the special type of “wild oak” for our fronts, table tops and beds. Its firm wood beautifully reveals its natural character and charm with a distinctive grain pattern and visible knotholes.
wild oak white oilMore information
Distinctive, natural and finished by us: wild oak white oil.
We treat the firm, heavily patterned wild oak wood of this surface with a natural white oil that lightens it and prevents darkening. We use the finished wood that comes from Germany, Austria and Hungary for our fronts, table tops and beds.
venetian oakMore information
Old, Venetian and full of history: Venetian oak.
The oak wood for this special surface already has a long story behind it. Old Venetian oak stakes are buried behind the name. The traces of the tides and the shells are characteristic for this wood and highlight its naturalness. The unique surface tells the story of the wood’s colourful history and brings the legend of the Italian lagoon city to your home.
maple white oilMore information
Bright, fine and finished by us: maple white oil.
Our maple grows in sustainably managed forests in Austria, Germany, Croatia and Romania. Its wood is characterised by a very light, almost white hue. Since maple darkens or yellows in regular sunlight, we treat it with natural white oil, which prevents this discolouration. The even structure of the firm and yet flexible wood is characterised by fine grains and a subtle grain pattern featuring fine light brown lines.
beech heartwoodMore information
Durable, lively and distinctive beech heartwood.
Our beech grows in the direct vicinity in sustainable forests in Austria and Germany. Its heartwood is hard and heavy and is characterised by a lively and distinctive wood look. Differences in colour, knots and small knotholes are typical. Natural coloured wood portions create a lively, distinctive grain pattern in the beech heartwood.
Solid, firm, and yet subtle: beech.
Local sources are important to us. Our beech wood comes from sustainable European forests in Austria and Germany. The colour of the wood is aesthetically nuanced and varies between bright yellow and reddish brown. The colour darkens slightly when regularly exposed to sunlight. Beech wood is heavy and firm and its structure makes it particularly easy to process.
Warm, red and charismatic: alder.
Our alder wood comes from sustainably managed forests in Hungary and Poland. It is characterised by a warm, red and golden colour that darkens slightly in the sunlight. Alder is a fast-growing medium-hard species of wood that is finely grained and is perfect for processing. And the best thing about it: its light colour variants and medullary rays make each piece of furniture made from alder unique.
